D.A. Watt Consulting led the project team in the planning and implementation of a traffic-calming project on 5 kms of existing inner city collector streets. Capital costs and public participation were the cornerstones to this three-year project. Both were essential to the development and success of the project. The resulting product, which includes a series of roundabouts, curb extensions and road realignments, met the City of Calgary's and the local resident's expectations through improving traffic flow in a residential community.
