• The senior PM will plan, conduct and oversee work on sizeable projects, often requiring knowledge in more than one area of engineering.
  
• The senior PM will be expected to supervise a number of professional engineers and technologists and provides guidance on difficult issues, as well as make suggestions with regard to recruitment, training, evaluation and discipline of subordinates.
  
• The successful candidate will be expected to partake in long-term planning, provide project cost estimates, establish comprehensive work programs and monitors progress to ensure timely and budgeted completion.
  
• He / she will be making independent decisions on all matters except those entailing large dollar values or long-term planning.
