• Generate moderately difficult to relatively complex computer drafting work - Under general supervision, the successful candidate is expected to use surveyor's field notes to generate computer drafting work including basic plans, Plot Plans and RPR's to small to medium-sized subdivision plans, site surveys and other plan types.
  
• Understand related Professional Acts and Regulations - The successful candidate will understand the requirements of the Land Titles Act and the Surveys Act with respect to plans prepared for registration and hence be capable of using originality and judgment when developing intermediate and final plans for review.
  
• Maintain technical competence in all related software platforms - The successful candidate is an expert in the capabilities of downloading, computing and drafting software and hence will be working with AutoCAD and MicroSurvey, as well as other technologies and data as they apply to a wide variety of drafting functions.
  
• Provide work direction to lower level Draftspersons - As an integral part of the Drafting Team, the Draftsperson will also direct and review the work of junior draftspersons and provide mentorship and guidance as necessary.
  
• Candidates with less than two years experience may be considered at the Junior Draftsperson level.
